CHRIST-CENTERED MIRACLES OF RESTORATION

Empowering christ-centered healing & restoration

Receiving the Inner Healing & Restoration Needed

HEALING from relational abuse, and being restored after a life of sin, the first step toward walking confidently in our identity and purpose in Christ is to receive His free gift of salvation. The second step is to receive the deep inner healing our souls truly need.

Life Before Jesus - A list of questions to see more clearly where you come from

Take time to reflect on your life before you fully encountered Jesus. Consider writing or journaling your responses to these questions. These reflections can be shared with a trusted prayer partner or during a healing session:

  • What was your life like before Jesus came deeply into your heart?

  • What areas did you struggle with the most?

  • What were your strengths and gifts?

  • What were your hopes and dreams?

  • What disappointments weighed you down?

  • How was your relationship with your mother? Your father?

  • What were your beliefs or experiences around communication and connection?

  • How did you feel emotionally?

  • What was your thought life like?

  • How did you relate to your physical body?

  • Can you identify the moment or season when Jesus revealed Himself to you in a personal and undeniable way?

The Three Phases of Inner Healing - for deep healing to occur, you may be supported by understanding how it may happen for you

Inner healing is often a journey—a process that often unfolds in phases:

1. Acknowledging The first step is to honestly acknowledge the inner wounds. These could be unspoken hurts, fears, disappointments, confusion, anxiety, or darkness we’ve been carrying.

2. Being Willing Next, we must be willing to allow Jesus to access and heal those areas. This may mean releasing control, laying down coping mechanisms, and inviting trusted support to walk with you through deliverance, prayer, or therapy.

3. Opening Finally, we open ourselves to new experiences: comfort, peace, restoration, joy, confidence, and connection. With Christ, we rise in faith and begin to embrace our God-given purpose as new creations.

Understanding the Wounded Soul - from wounded to wholeness

Trauma creates wounds in the soul—our heart, mind, and emotions. In overwhelming or abusive situations, we may dissociate—mentally "go away" to cope. While dissociation is a God-given defense mechanism, those wounds often remain frozen in time.

These unhealed parts may manifest as childlike reactions in adult situations. If your emotional response to a moment is much bigger than the moment itself, it may signal an unhealed soul wound.

Dissociation and the Journey to Wholeness

These dissociative soul wounds are like locked rooms in your heart. Only Jesus can gently open those rooms and bring full healing. The soul can be fragmented, but God’s Word shows us that He is our Healer:

Psalm 147:3 – "He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds." Isaiah 61:1 – "He has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives."

Our soul needs to come out of these prisons so we can fully praise, love, and trust God with an undivided heart.

Ezekiel 11:19 – "I will remove their heart of stone and give them a heart of flesh."

Wounded Parts of the Soul Need a Voice

Inner healing begins when those wounded parts feel safe to speak. In a healing session, or in quiet time with the Lord, you can invite Jesus into those hidden places. He is tender, patient, and kind. If you need support, I can help you receive the deep inner healing and restoration you are praying for. By the power of the Holy Spirit, every inner wound can be healed. Every hinderance cast down and out.

Common Inner Hurts

Here are some examples of inner wounds you may identify with. Ask the Holy Spirit to help you recognize the hurts that need healing:

Humiliation: Feeling inferior or flawed; fear of expressing your true self.

Betrayal: Loss of trust due to deception; difficulty trusting others or God.

Abandonment: Fear of being left or unseen; difficulty believing God will stay.

Rejection: Being dismissed or judged after being vulnerable; fear of opening up again.

Injustice: Feeling violated or treated unfairly; struggling to trust God's justice.

Control: Feeling voiceless or powerless; desire to self-protect or control life without God.

Manipulation: Confused by relationships that turned abusive or deceptive.

Neglect: Feeling invisible or uncared for; difficulty receiving God’s nurture.

Shaming: Deep embarrassment or self-hate; struggle to receive grace and love.

Physical or Sexual Abuse: Deep fear, distrust, and confusion; struggle to believe God can restore your body and mind.

Write down in your journal the wounds that resonate with you.
Let this identification of the wounding be a beginning point for prayer and healing.
