In Your WEAKNESS
Are you going through hard times right now?
The Lord wants to be your protector, your healer and comforter…
You may have grown up in a family or in a community that led you to believe you always had to have everything together or perfect, and that if you were “not okay” that there was something wrong with you. This may have led you to feel afraid of or ashamed of struggle. But GOD has a refreshing perspective on our weakness,
Our weakness is what leads us to the Creator of the Universe - our Heavenly Father
2 Corinthians 12:9-10
But he said to me, "My grace is sufficient for you,
for my power is made perfect in weakness."
Therefore I will boast all the more gladly
about my weaknesses,
so that Christ's power may rest on me.
Did you grow up believing that you needed to stay strong, stay positive, stay on top of things and have it all together on your own? Did you grow up thinking that self-sufficiency was the path to success and effectiveness? Did you grow up thinking you needed to do good and be good and strive hard, work hard, and do it all?
You are not alone…This is an agenda aimed at getting us to believe the lie that we do not need GOD. But we eventually burn out. We simply cannot sustain without GOD’s STRENGTH. We burn out and grow weary, and it’s because GOD never designed us to be strong without Him. He designed us to depend on HIM for everything, including strength.
What this means is that we are meant to surrender and trust His Grace.
Trust in the Lord and His Way. For His Way is Higher and serves all. Here is what God’s Word says
There is a process of surrender when walking with the Lord.
It can be hard to surrender and trust Him after years of self protection.
As you embrace healing, deliverance and spiritual growing with Him, you will come to receive God’s power in every weakness.
Without His POWER it makes sense to rely on self-direction, self-protection, and self-improvement, but now you are protected by the Lord. With Jesus you learn to live in yielded surrender. This life is different!
He asks us to surrender and trust in Him, for absolutely everything.
As you walk through the refining process with the Lord, walking more in God’s Truth, His POWER can be experienced.
”For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of POWER, LOVE AND SELF-CONTROL.” (2 TIMOTHY 1:7)
Be patient with yourself if this is hard, because He is patient with you.

John 14:16-17
“And I will ask the Father, and He will give you another Comforter (Counselor, Helper, Intercessor, Advocate, Strengthener, and Standby), that He may remain with you forever—The Spirit of Truth, Whom the world cannot receive (welcome, take to its heart), because it does not see Him or know and recognize Him. But you know and recognize Him, for He lives with you [constantly] and will be in you.”
John 16:7
“However, I am telling you nothing but the truth when I say it is profitable (good, expedient, advantageous) for you that I go away. Because if I do not go away, the Comforter (Counselor, Helper, Advocate, Intercessor, Strengthener, Standby) will not come to you [into close fellowship with you]; but if I go away, I will send Him to you [to be in close fellowship with you].”
Acts 1:8
“But you shall receive power (ability, efficiency, and might) when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you shall be My witnesses in Jerusalem and all Judea and Samaria and to the ends (the very bounds) of the earth.”

Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand firm. Stand therefore, having fastened on the belt of truth, and having put on the breastplate of righteousness.”
