WHAT IS INNER HEALING WITH JESUS?

What Is Inner Healing with Jesus?

When the soul has been wounded by trauma, sin, betrayal, or heartbreak—when pain has been buried, minimized, or ignored for years—it often shows up in every area of life.

We may feel chronically stuck, emotionally overwhelmed, relationally disconnected, or even physically unwell.
We may struggle with isolation, fear, control, shame, or anxiety.
We may be doing everything we know to do—and still feel like something is off.

These are the signs of a wounded soul.

And the answer is not striving harder, but surrendering deeper.
Because only Jesus Christ can truly heal the soul.

What Is Inner Healing?

Inner healing is the process of inviting Jesus Christ into the wounded places of your soul—the parts that are still hurting, hiding, or frozen in time. These are the parts that formed in trauma and survival. The ones that learned to numb, disconnect, control, or please.

Jesus doesn’t just want to forgive your sin.
He wants to restore your soul.

“He restores my soul. He leads me in paths of righteousness for His name's sake.”
—Psalm 23:3

He wants to meet us where no one else can see.
Where pain lives beneath the surface.
Where we had to dissociate to survive.

Jesus Waits with Love and Patience

When we “went away” emotionally to cope with the trauma...
When we tucked away parts of our heart to keep functioning...

“The LORD is compassionate and gracious, slow to anger and abounding in love.”
—Psalm 103:8

He waits to gently uncover every hurting part.
He waits to bring warmth, truth, and healing light.
He does not force. He does not rush. He does not shame.

His gentle presence begins to heal.

Why Self-Healing Isn’t Enough

I used to pursue self-healing—
modalities, practices, rituals, meditations.
They may have offered temporary relief, but none of it truly restored me.

It wasn’t until I encountered the real Jesus Christ, surrendered to Him, and received His forgiveness that true healing began.

“He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds.”
—Psalm 147:3

He didn't ask me to perform.
He asked me to surrender.
And surrendering meant finally admitting that I couldn’t fix myself.

God designed us to need Him
even (and especially) in our pain.

What Happens in Inner Healing with Jesus?

You begin to feel again.
You come out of emotional numbness.
You start acknowledging what you were too afraid to face.
You tell the truth to God and allow Him to speak truth back.

And in every hidden place, Jesus brings His nurture, safety, truth, and care.

“Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.”
—Matthew 11:28

When It’s Hard to Enter This Season

Healing can feel overwhelming.
Sometimes the heart feels too tired to go through the pain again.

You can tell the Lord that.
“Lord, I’m having a hard time. Please help me.”

He will help you.
You don’t have to do it alone.
You weren’t meant to.

“Cast all your anxiety on Him because He cares for you.”
—1 Peter 5:7

The Process of Deep Healing with Jesus

1. Acknowledge the Hurt.
Be honest with God about your pain, fear, confusion, doubt, or blocks.
He already knows. He’s waiting to hear it from you.

“Pour out your heart before Him; God is a refuge for us.”
—Psalm 62:8

2. Be Willing to Be Healed.
Jesus is gentle—but He does not force Himself. Healing begins with a “yes.”
Your willingness allows Him into the places you've guarded for so long.

“I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in…”
—Revelation 3:20

3. Be Ready to Be Transformed.
Healing leads to transformation.
You’ll begin to see from God’s perspective.
You’ll begin to let go of your old identity.
And you’ll rise into the woman He created you to be.

“Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here!”
—2 Corinthians 5:17

Inner Healing Leads to Wholeness in Christ

With each layer of healing, the walls around your heart come down.
And God brings you closer to His own.
This is not about perfection.
It’s about becoming fully alive in Him.

You were not created to carry trauma your whole life.
You were created to live in freedom, wholeness, and peace with Jesus Christ as your foundation.

“Because your love is better than life, my lips will glorify you.”
—Psalm 63:3

Dear Sister, It’s Time to Heal, Grow, and Rise

You do not have to stay numb.
You do not have to carry it all.
You do not have to be afraid of the pain.

Jesus is calling you into a safe, Spirit-led, transformative journey of deep healing.

Will you say yes?

THE PROCESS OF DEEP HEART AND SOUL HEALING WITH JESUS

  • Acknowledging the Hurt.

Being honest with God about your pain, blocks, fears, doubts, emotions, and sufferings. Your vulnerability is welcomed by the Lord, it is essential as it wipes away pride and self-reliance. He waits for this.

  • Willingness to be Healed.

Being willing to receive His love paves the way to finally be healed and set free. Be willing to let go of the pain, and see life from the Lord's point of view and what He wants to uniquely show you about every single situation that has harmed. Your willingness to let Jesus into the places you’ve hidden for so long, allows Him to carry the burden. In God's Word it tells us to "cast our worries." Surrendering to His way, so you can rest in His faithful arms. Inviting Him to deliver and transform you, because God won't force Himself upon you.

  • Ready to be Transformed.

Allowing the transformation to occur through surrender. Increasing in trust in the Lord, forgiveness, new Godly understanding, and relinquishing your old identity to embrace your true identity - a new creation is Christ.

(Psalm 63:3) "Because your love is better than life, my lips will glorify you."
