Learning how to Love from Jesus
When you care for someone, you reflect the heart of God who “cares for you” (1 Peter 5:7).
When you support someone in troubling or difficult circumstances, you reflect the heart of God who is our “ever-present help in trouble” (Psalm 46.1).
When you are able to empathize with someone grieving or crying in pain, you reflect the heart of God who promises to “wipe away every tear” (Revelation 21:4).
When you simply sit with someone and keep them company and serve as healing companion, you reflect the heart of God who says, “I am with you” (Isaiah 41:10).

The more we allow ourselves to be healed by Christ, the more we will naturally be available and resourced to listen and comfort in healthy ways, fully guided by Holy Spirit.
*
Healing together includes gathering in safe spaces for sharing vulnerably, deep listening without someone sharing scripture or bible understandings right away, but rather the gift of simply being together relationally, as Jesus does with us.
WHAT HELPS:
The ability to meet others right where they are at
Knowing how to listen when someone is suffering
Trusting the Lord to heal and guide
Learning how to share vulnerably
*
People who have been abused, traumatized, abandoned, rejected, dealing with grief, and all the people coming out of new age deception and witchcraft need safe others to share their stories.
The wounds need to be voiced.

Every human being needs to experience emotionally safe places while healing from emotionally unsafe homes from childhood. To be the hands and feet of Christ in a way that is relationally supportive. Jesus is a great listener. We can be, too. I pray for more healthy loving in families as a solid foundation, and the relationship with Christ to be shared in a way that is safe and relationally skillful. There is hope for God's healing and relational healing, and I am here for it!
